Our AGM will be held on January 25th 2021 at 7.30PM. Our AGM will hopefully take place in the clubhouse, but in the event of further Covid restrictions the meeting will take place on zoom. The Annual General Meeting will elect Club Officials and the new Committee, which is responsible for adopting club policy, codes of conduct and rules that effect the organisation and running of the cricket club. All nominations for club officers or officials to be sent to Jason White firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 18th January 2021.
See the Junior Section of our website for the 2020 season report written by the Junior Chairman and all the coaches.
To all our members and visitors. It is great to be able to welcome you all to GCC and it is great to see cricket return. We must advise all visitors to our ground and premesis to respect and adhere to the regulations set out by the ECB and particularly our GCC Risk Assessment with respect to Covid, infection prevention measures including social distancing etc. All need to comply with the following basic operating rules. We also recommend you read the full risk assessment before visiting GCC, which can be found on this website in the GCC Policies menu. In particular: Do not attend if you or anyone in your household displays Covid type symptoms or your household is currently in isolation Personal hygiene measures should be carried out at home before and after visiting the club Bring your own hand sanitiser where possible. If this isn’t possible wash your hands properly (for at least 20 seconds with soap and water) before and after visiting the club Travel together as a household Avoid public transport Avoid touching as much a possible whilst on the club premises and use cleaning stations whenever available All users should report any infection of their household following use of the facility to allow effective contact tracing and to limit the spread of the virus Thank you for adhering to these measures for your own and other visitors safety.
Here is a challenge for you - how many of these sucessful junior players from a few years ago can you name?? As a clue several have already played in our adult teams including the First XI. Photo One....Photo 2....
