We have a couple of (very) old photographs connected with the club, and we would like to see if anyone might help us identify the people in the pictures. The first is from 1949 and it's a team photo of a Saddleworth League Under 16 team on the occasion of them playing Hollinwood CC U16s who had won the title that year. We think the other picture is from the same period and shows a group at Old Trafford. The only face we can be sure of on this one is that of David Bennet (Greenfield CC) who is sixth from the left. We have no idea what the occasion might have been, but the blazer badge of the gent in the centre looks a bit like MCC. Here's the link to the full size version.
